Working and living in regional WA, our Founder, Tara Whitney, saw a lot of sporting clubs, community organisations and small not for profits struggling with grant applications. But she knew they did not have the funds to hire professional help.
Grant workshops are great but unless you go home and write your application straight away, you forget a lot – and what are the chances the grant you need is open at the exact time that you get access to a grant workshop?
It was clear to Tara that smaller organisations without a lot of money needed help and a guiding hand to help them write their application at the exact time of writing! But it needed to be low cost.
This was the inspiration for GIY – an online grant writing program that walks you through writing your application, step by step, as you go. By the end of the course, you have written your application – without the headaches, uncertainty and stress AND at a much higher quality and chance of success.
