During a career spanning almost 30 years in the media, state and local government, Tim has accumulated an extensive and diverse set of skills, knowledge and experience.
After starting out as a cadet at the Albany Advertiser newspaper he joined the ABC as a radio and television journalist, went on to work as Parliamentary Liaison, Media Adviser and Principal Policy Adviser for a state government minister and a media and communications specialist at the City of Fremantle before joining Whitney Consulting in 2023.
Born in the WA Wheatbelt town of Narrogin, and having lived and worked in Albany, Karratha, Broome and Bridgetown as well as Perth, Tim has a strong affiliation with country WA and a firm understanding of the issues that are important to regional people.
Now based in Busselton, Tim is savouring the delights of the South West and likes nothing more than sharing his passion for the region with others.
